Testimonials – The Systematic Horseman

Alison Davis, Auckland, New Zealand

I acquired Fonteyn as an untrained and unwanted 6 year old ex-racehorse in April 2000.  When I first rode her she fel like a “lump” of wood as the saying goes.

I first came a cross Ramon Guerrero through an advertisement in the newspaper, and the part which attracted me was the fact that he trained “WITHOUT FORCE”.

Ramon worked her for a month before I rode her and then gave me lesson's.  The difference between before schooling her and after was completely unbelievable.

I’ve shown horses at top level here in New Zealand and at her only second show being a A and P show Fonteyn was awarded Open Champion Park Hack.  Many more champion’s and supreme champions have followed her debut effort.

Fonteyn was unbeaten at the New Zealand Horse of the Year 2001 competition, winning all her classes and being awarded Champion Park Hack of the Year.

Comment’s from the Australian judge were “I haven’t seen a novice hack so far advanced in her training and this horse could easily hold her own against the open hack’s in Australian competition” this was all achieved within 10 month's from the start of Ramon Guerrero’s training us.
