History – The Systematic Horseman
Senor Ramon Guerrero was born in Medina, Sidonia, Andalusia, Spain.
Between 1960 and 1974 he completed his apprenticeship at the Royal Spanish Academy of Jerez de Fromtera under the tutelage of Don Alvaro Domecq, who was the president of the Spanish Riding School, today this is one of the most advanced traditional Riding Academies in the World.
During that time Ramon was also given the opportunity to be instructed by other Riding Masters – Nuno Oliveira, Gillermo Borba and Don Juan Sanchez, who was the “Professor of Equitation” from the Military Stud of Jerez de la Fromtera.
Ramon was invited as Guest Rider on the 400 year celebration of the Foundation Vienna Riding School in 1972, Wembley Stadium London and Paris, France in 1973.
Arriving in Western Australia in 1975, he founded El Caballo Blanco, the First Classical Dancing Horse show in the Southern hemisphere. Three years later he established a riding show of the same name in Sydney were he was producer, trainer and director.
In 1982 Ramon purchased a team of horses of varying breeds which he trained and established the famous “International Dancing Stallions of Australia” on the Gold Coast.
Since 1990 Ramon has been dedicated to developing and spreading his knowledge throughout Spain, Australia and New Zealand.
In 2007 Ramon was again invited back to Western Australia as one of their Spanish Masters to train and perform with the Andalusian Stallions for the return and re opening of El Caballo Resort.
